He had worked for Hunt's Forest Products. His wife, Alice Davis; a daughter, Sharonda Davis, three sons, Tyrone, Rip and Brian Davis; and a sister, Joyce Ann Frederick, all reside in Ponchatoula. JANICE LOCASCIO FALLER Janice Locascio Faller, 63, a native of New Orleans and resident of Kentwood, died Friday, June 30, 2000, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge. A homemaker, she was married 42 years to Carlton S. Faller Sr., M.D., of Kentwood, and had four children, Julie Ann Faller of Baton Rouge; Susan Faller Hayes of St. Petersburg, Fla., Carlton S. Faller Jr. of Houston and John Michael Faller of Kentwood. Survivors also include her sister, Mary Lynn Bonck, Baton Rouge, and four grandchildren. Gassen Sr., 79, a native and resident of Ponchatoula, died Friday, June 30, 2000, at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ponchatoula and served as a eucharistic minister there. Also, he was a member of the John F. Kennedy Council 2957 of the Knights of Columbus in Hammond and of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He served in World War II and the Korean conflict and retired from the U.S. Coast Guard. Survivors include his wife, Josephine Hungate Gassen, Ponchatoula; two sons, Charles J. Gassen Sr., Lafayette, and Hollis C.
