TED Loranger News - Mrs. Ted Addison, sister of Mrs. R. J. Wall, died Thursday, January 17, at her home in Jackson, La. Burial was Friday at Amite Cemetery. *************************************************************************** Obituary published in The Hammond Vindicator: 2/15/1952 ALBIN, JOHN CLINTON John Clinton Albin, 90, died Thursday of last week at Lallie Kemp Hospital at Independence. He was born August 9, 1861 near Albany in Livingston Parish. He married Alice Daniel in 1888; she preceded him in death a number of years ago. A daughter, Nell, also preceded him in death. Funeral services were held Friday from the Poole Funeral Home; with burial in Stevens Cemetery at Independence. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. L. A. Lillard of McComb, Miss.; four sons, Daniel Blue Albin of Albany, and Wallace Albin, Benjamin Albin and Reuben Albin, all of Hammond; several grandchildren, including J. C. She was the former Miss Frances Costanza; born in Chicago November 1, 1921. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Felix Costanza, moved to Hammond in 1934. On September 1, 1946, she was united in marriage to Louis Alfonso of Hammond, and to this union were born two sons - Louis D., Jr., age 5, and Charles William, 7 months, who survive.
