Warren Taylor, was a native of VA; came to LA before the civil war and married Miss Mary Hill Pipes, daughter of David Pipes. They had six children; Olivia (Mrs. Henry L. Pond); Bertha (Mrs. Charles Whiteman); Emma, who married twice, first to W. W. Worthy, and after his death, to Charles L. Pond; Henrietta; David H. Taylor; and Kinchen K. Taylor. His sister, Mrs. Pond, and his brother, Kinchen K. Taylor alone survives David H. David married Miss Callie Brown, daughter of Ben M. G. Brown, former sheriff of East Feliciana; they had six children: Miss Mary H. Taylor, Benjamin B. Taylor, D. H. Taylor, Jr., Mrs Lulie Taylor McKowen (wife of Dr. Henry G. McKowen), L. Nauman Taylor and Mrs. Camille Taylor Nabors (wife of J. Bachman Nabors), all survive. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery beside his parents.
