Funeral Friday in Hammond. She was the daughter of the late, Dr. and Mrs. A. P. Delcourt. Survived by two sisters, Mrs. Kels Herring of Hammond and Mrs. Arthur Ward of Houston, TX; two brothers, Paul E. Delcourt of Houston and Billie Delcourt of Tampa, FL. She lived and worked in New Orleans for the past several months. 1 Jan 1937; p. 1, col. 7: Lee Russell Gulley, 46, died Sunday in a New Orleans hospital of pneumonia. His wife died about 3 years ago. He was a native of Gulley's Mill, NC; born 21 Mar 1890. The Gulley family later settled in Brookhaven, MS. He moved to Hammond 30 years ago. Born Anna Louise Ogden, 18 Feb 1887 in Amite, daughter of the late Octavius Nash Ogden and his wife, Cora Hennen Jennings; charter member of Tangipahoa Chapter of the DAR. She was a descendant of Robert Ogden of Elizabethtown, NJ who was a Revolutionary soldier on the staff of Gen. Washington; and of Abner Nash, Colonial Governor of NC during the Revolution. Survived by husband; two sons, Alfred Wood Spiller, Jr. and Edmund Ogden Spiller, both students at Tulane Univ.; one daughter, Caroline Spiller. 5 Feb 1937; p. 1, col. 6: Mrs. Mary Akers Haight, 84, died at home in New Orleans, Tuesday. He was a descendant of Bishop Jacob Mast, who immigrated from Switzerland to America in 1750. His early life was spent in PA and NE. In 1888, he came to LA. He married Miss Kate P. Enos of Summit, MS who was the daughter of Elisha Enos and Margaret Bornman. They had one daughter, Mrs. Marguerite Lord Bultman of New Orleans. His wife died 14 years ago in New Orleans. Mr. Lord lived in New Orleans for the past 29 years. He died 6 Feb 1937, age 68. Funeral was Tuesday, Feb 9th in Hammond; interment in Greenlawn Cemetery, Hammond. Survived by daughter; three sisters, Mrs. Florence Dunn of Hammond, Mrs. Fannie Brusteter and Dr. Bertha Willford of Alva, OK; four grandchildren.
