Born 10 Mar 1860, son of the late T. M. Akers and Mrs. Minerva Tucker; married 19 Sep 1889 Miss Irene Ingraham; no children, but following the death of Mrs. Jerome Tucker, took her daughter, Doris, to rear. Mrs. Akers died 9 Mar 1935. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Alice Wright of Ponchatoula and several nieces and nephews. Roswell Lillie died 9 Nov 1924. Mr. Rudy lived in Hammond and his parents are buried in Greenlawn Cemetery in Hammond; he probably will be also.
