ABRON, GEORGE 
George Abron, 56, died Monday, Oct. 14, 2002. He was a native of
Independence and was employed as a mechanic. He is survived by his wife,
Lucille Abron of Hammond; three daughters, Jacqueline, Sandra and Cynthia
Abron, all of Hammond; four sons, Gregory and George Abron, both of
Hammond, Benny Abron of Albany and Armada Abron of Ponchatoula; four
sisters, Shirley McCraney, Margaret Parker and Augustine Abron, all of
Seattle, and Betty Floretta of Everitt, Wash.; three brothers, Clarence
Abron of Burien, Wash., Jabue Abron of Kent, Wash., and Ernest Lawery of
New Orleans; his mother, Alfreda Abron of Seattle; 25 grandchildren and
five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, George
Abron Sr.; one son, Reginald Cade; and two brothers, Felix Lowery and
Archie Lowery. Visitation will be Friday at Richardson Funeral Home,
Hammond, from 4 to 9 p.m. The funeral will be Saturday at Mt. Vernon
Baptist Church, Hammond, at 11 a.m. with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery,
Hammond.

ABRON, ROY SR.
Roy Abron Sr., 53, died Saturday, Sept. 21, 2002. He was a native of
Magnolia, Miss. He is survived by his wife, Rosetta Abron of Hammond; three
daughters, Yvonne Abron and Ashley Abron, both of Hammond; and Shuntell
Abron of Atlanta; one son, Roy Abron Jr. of Hammond; one sister, Elaine
Abron of Hammond; one brother, Troy Abron of Hammond; and three
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Cloyd Abron; and his
mother, Betsy McGee. Visitation will be today at Richardson Funeral Home,
Hammond, from 4 p.m. until the Rev. Curtis Oliver conducts the funeral at
7. Burial will be in Holly Garden Cemetery, Hammond.

ABRON, TROY SR.
Troy Abron Sr., 53, died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2003, at North Oaks Medical
Center. He was a native of Magnolia, Miss. Survivors include his wife,
Williestine J. Abron of Hammond; one daughter, Roschelle Abron of Hammond;
one son, Troy Abron Jr. of Hammond; a sister, Elaine Robertson of Hammond;
and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Claude
Abron; his mother, Bessie L. Abron; four brothers, Ernest, Claude, Willie
and Roy Abron; one sister, Dorothy Whitsett; and a grandson. Visitation
will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home, Hammond. The
Rev. Matthew Sims will conduct the funeral Saturday at 11 a.m. at Greater
Rose Hill Baptist Church, and burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.

ABRON, WILLIE 
Willie Abron, 59, died Thursday, May 24, 2001, at Dixon Medical Center,
Covington. He was a native of Magnolia, Miss. He is survived by his wife,
Genora J. Abron of Hammond; four daughters, Carolyn, Mary and Genice Abron
and Elaine Brooks, all of Hammond; four sons, Bradley, Victor, Willie Jr.
and Darion Abron, all of Hammond; one sister, Elaine Robertson of Hammond;
two brothers, Troy and Roy Abron, both of Hammond; 26 grandchildren and
four great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one
son, Larry Odell Abron; one daughter, Wanda Rene Abron; three brothers,
Claude Jr., Earnest and Albert Lee Abron; and one sister, Dorothy Whitsett.
Visitation will be today at Richardson Funeral Home, Hammond, from 5 p.m.
until the funeral 7:30, conducted by the Rev. Shirley Patterson. Dismissal
will be Wednesday at 11 a.m., and burial will be in Shady Grove Baptist
Church Cemetery, Progress, Miss.
