He was a native of Independence and was employed as a mechanic. He is survived by his wife, Lucille Abron of Hammond; three daughters, Jacqueline, Sandra and Cynthia Abron, all of Hammond; four sons, Gregory and George Abron, both of Hammond, Benny Abron of Albany and Armada Abron of Ponchatoula; four sisters, Shirley McCraney, Margaret Parker and Augustine Abron, all of Seattle, and Betty Floretta of Everitt, Wash.; three brothers, Clarence Abron of Burien, Wash., Jabue Abron of Kent, Wash., and Ernest Lawery of New Orleans; his mother, Alfreda Abron of Seattle; 25 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, George Abron Sr.; one son, Reginald Cade; and two brothers, Felix Lowery and Archie Lowery. Visitation will be Friday at Richardson Funeral Home, Hammond, from 4 to 9 p.m. The funeral will be Saturday at Mt.
