Having served in the Korean War, Joseph was a U.S. Army veteran and owner of Accardo Tile Contractor Inc. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #4030 and a devoted Usher at St. Louis King of France Catholic Church. His hobbies included fishing and gardening but his greatest joy came from his family. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 60 years Mary Ann S. Accardo; children: Joseph Anthony Accardo Jr., Ronald Accardo and wife Jeri Lee, Donald Accardo and companion Joseph Specht, Bernadette Accardo White and husband Richard, and Anthony John Accardo and girlfriend Phyllis Ponthier; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Sam and Josephine Accardo; brother Sam Accardo; and granddaughter Jessica Laine Accardo.
