Carl W. Adamson, Bryan, Ohio, 78, died Sunday, July 13, 2003, at Brookview Healthcare Center of Defiance. He was fork lift operator and loader for Continental General Tire before retiring and had been a supervisor at the Spangler Candy Co. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Bryan and the American Legion and was a U.S. Marine Corps World War II veteran. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie G. Wise Adamson; a son, Carl Adamson Jr. of Roseland; two daughters, Jean Moehlenkamp of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Jerry Linda Fitzenrider of Montpelier, Ohio; two sisters, Marian Jordan of Homer, Ga., and Winona Chambers of Lula, Ga.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl C. and Edna J. Clark Adamson; a daughter, Sharon J. Adamson; and his brother, Horace Adamson. The Rev. John MacFarlane will conduct the funeral Wednesday at Rice-Burr Funeral Home, Bryan, at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Shiffler Cemetery. Visitation is tonight at from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Donations in memory of Carl W.
