He was a parishioner of Holy Ghost Catholic Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus #2952, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #3652, American Legion Post #47, International Association of Firefighters Local #632, Louisiana Firefighters Association and the LA Red Knights Chapter 4 of Amite LA. Chris leaves behind his wife, Suzanne Aikman; children, Carol Ann Aikman, Baynum Aikman and wife Kayla, Christie Noble and husband P.J., Kevin Aikman and wife Sammi Lynn, Lori Aikman; grandchildren, Dari Leigh Aikman, Jude Aikman, Christian Legoria, John Noble, Nicholas Bailey, Margaret Aikman, Mckenzie Aikman and Joshua Aikman; great-grandson, Kade Lippon. He is also survived by his sister, Rosemary Ernst of New Orleans and brother, James Aikman of Terrytown. He was preceded in death by his parents, James B. and Rose A. Aikman. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home on Friday, March 25, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Holy Ghost Catholic Church at 12:00 noon, celebrated by Fr.
