AKERS, THOMAS S.
p. 1, col. 7:  Thomas S. Akers, 68, died Wednesday at Tangipahoa. A native
of Ponchatoula. Funeral Friday, 9 Feb. in Ponchatoula; interment in Sand
Hill Cemetery, east of Ponchatoula. Survived by widow; son, T. S. Akers,
Jr. of Jackson, MS; two daughters, Mrs. D. D. Sullivant of Ponchatoula and
Mrs. John Patenotte of Hammond.
