ALBANESE, MARY DiBUONO 
Mrs. Mary DiBuono Albanese died at 8:15 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2006, at
her home near Hammond. She was 98 and a native of Independence. Visitation
at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, on Monday, March 6, from 9 a.m. until
12:30 p.m. Religious service at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church,
Independence, on Monday at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Paul McDuffie.
Interment in Colonial Cemetery, Independence. She is survived by a
daughter, Margaret Casadaban, Kenner; sons, Michael Albanese, Destrehan,
and Joseph Albanese, Hammond; sister, Mrs. Anna Lucia, Amite; 10 grand-
children, 17 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by her husband, John A. Albanese; brothers, Roy DiBuono
and Louis DiBuono; parents, Joseph and Tecla DiBuono; and two grand-
