She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Richard Jones, her daughter, Althea Burrell and five sons; Lawrence, Egbert, Lawton, Elton and Reginald Albert, one brother, Leon McCray, 25 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Hazel and Leroy McCray. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 21, at Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church from 9 a.m. until Rev. Baton Rouge - David Rodgers Albert Sr., 54, died Friday, Feb. 20, 2004, at Baton Rouge General Hospital. A native of Vidalia, he is survived by his wife, Crystal Richardson Albert; one daughter, Stephanie Henderson of Natchez, Miss.; four sons, David R. Albert Jr. of Atlanta, Yohance Richardson of Killeen, Texas, Roger James of Loranger and Marcus Barnes of Tennessee; five sisters, Lottie M. Albert, Dorothy A. Wexler, Carrie Albert, Betty Wilson and Elnora Riley, all of Vidalia; three brothers, Willie Albert Jr. of New Orleans, James Albert of Houston and Charles A. Albert of Vidalia; his mother, Elnora Woodard Albert; and his father, Willie Albert Sr. His brother, John Henry Albert, preceded him in death. The Rev. Willie E. Mabry will conduct the funeral Saturday at 11 a.m. at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church, Baton Rouge. Burial will be at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.
