Through his long, colorful life Marion touched countless lives in myriad ways: He sponsored a family from Vietnam that still remains a part of his extended family. Through the years he gave counsel and advice to the young and the old - on life, business and love - love for self, family and country. He was a straight shooter that embraced life - and extracted the most out of each and every day until his very last. The Alessi family gives special thanks to Marion's loyal and devoted assistants, Ron Romano and Marcia Dupin, his caring medical team, Dr. Tuminello, Dr. Deumite, Dr. Kennedy and Dr. Marsh, and his very special caregiver, Mario Moreno. Marion had immense love and respect for his dear friends that are too many to name, but we would like to acknowledge Charles G. Walker, Dr. Bruce Baer, Lloyd Bearden, Steve Dietzel and brothers Marvin and Dale Henderson. Pallbearers will be Marion's five God-given sons and Curtis Stewart, his life-given son.
