ALLBRITTON, WALTER JR. 
Walter Allbritton Jr., 49, died Oct. 30, 2000, at Lallie Kemp Medical
Center. He was a counselor. Survivors include his wife, Betty Smith
Allbritton; two daughters, Veronica and Shond Allbritton; two sons, Walter
III an Dhond Allbritton; two sisters, Bennie Jackson and Gwendolyn
Allbritton, all of Hammond; seven brothers, Roy, L.C., William, Bruce, Carl
Allbritton, all of Hammond, James Allbritton, Baton Rouge, Glyn Allbritton,
Atlanta; and four grandchildren. His parents, sister and three brothers
preceded him in death. Visitation will be at Richardson Funeral Home,
Hammond, tonight from 5 to 9. The Rev. Larry Cross will conduct the funeral
Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Paul Baptist Church, and burial will be in
Greenlawn Cemetery.
