ALTHER, DOROTHY RUSSELL KELLY
Dorothy Russell Kelly Alther, 85, died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004, at North
Oaks Medical Center, Hammond.  A native of St. Bernard Parish, her
survivors include one son, Kenneth D. Kelly Sr.; three sisters, Myrtle R.
Evans, Joyce R. Frye and Marion Kaltenbach; two brothers, Bill and Jack
Russell; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  She was preceded
in death by her first husband, Adam Terry Kelly Sr. and her second husband,
Harry G. Alther; her parents, James Russell Sr. and Viola Morales Russell;
two sons, Patrick D. and Larry E. Kelly; one stepson, Adam Terry Kelly Jr.;
four brothers, Harding, Forrest, Warren and James Russell Jr.; one sister,
Lillian McKelvey Gross; and two grandchildren.  Visitation will be Tuesday
at St. Bernard Memorial Gardens from 6 to 10 p.m. followed by burial at
Rosedale Cemetery, Martinsburg, W. Va.  In lieu of flowers, donations may
be made in honor of a surviving great-granddaughter, Haley Ann Rose, to
TARC, 201 E. Church St., Hammond, LA 70401.
