ALTHOUSE, THOMAS, JR.
Thomas Althouse, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2011.  Beloved 
husband of Nancy Yoder Althouse; loving father of Beth Althouse of 
Minneapolis, MN, Judy A. Nesser and her husband Claude T. Nesser, MD of 
Hammond and Jeffrey S. Althouse and his wife Shannon Daigle Althouse of 
Covington; grandfather to his granddaughters, Kristen and Kylan; and
brother of Virginia A. Miller and her husband Chet of Rock Hill, SC. He was 
also survived by several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by 
his mother, Dorothy Stewart Althouse; and his father, Thomas Althouse, Sr.
Age 77 years, he was a native of Philadelphia, PA, a resident of Hammond, 
LA for the past 6 years, and a former resident of Mandeville, LA for 28 
years.  An avid golfer, Tom also enjoyed tennis and was a member of the 
winning team of the 3.0 Senior Nationals.  He retired some years ago from 
AAA (American Automobile Association) which allowed him to live in many 
major cities. He also later retired as the owner of Kwik Kopy Printing in 
Hammond. He was a member of the Rotary Club of Hammond and was involved 
with many community organizations.  Relatives and friends of the family 
are invited to attend the funeral service from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home 
Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, July 23, 2011 
at 2:00 PM. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 22, 2011 from 6:00 
to 8:00 PM, and resume on Saturday at 1:00 PM until service time. Interment 
will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.  In lieu of fl owers, 
the family would prefer donations to Options, 19362 W. Shelton Rd.,
