He was born on Friday, September 6, 1957, in New Orleans, Louisiana, son of Alexander Joseph Amond and Jean Arcement Stambaugh. Mr. Amond was a member of 1976 Covington High School Football State Champions, and First Baptist Church in Ponchatoula. He was a Salesperson for Hood Hyundai. Surviving are his son, Bryce Amond, siblings, Bart and Bruce Amond, Frankie and Dewayne Stambaugh; stepmother, Caroll Amond; 2 sisters, Alexies Schiro and Caroll Robert. He is preceded in death by brother, Brad Amond; paternal grandparents, Bobbie and Harry Roberts; and maternal grandparents, Louis and Ruth Arcement. Friends will be received Thursday, September 27 at the Sand Hill Cemetery in Ponchatoula, from 11 a.m., until services. Services will be held at Sand Hill Cemetery, Thursday, September 27, 2007 at 12 p.m. followed by interment. Contributions may be made to the Covington High School Football Team, Covington, Louisiana, and First Baptist Church in Ponchatoula.
