AMOROSO, ANTHONY J. 
Baton Rouge - Anthony J. "Tony" Amoroso, 67, died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2000,
at Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center. He was a native of Baton Rouge and
a U.S. Air Force veteran. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Patricia
Hidalgo Amoroso; son, Buddy Amoroso, both of Baton Rouge; four daughters,
Vickie Keith, Katy, Texas, Jo Ann Amoroso, Lori Planchard and Mary Pat
Thevenot, all of Baton Rouge; two foster daughters, Sonya Mumphrey,
Hammond, Tonya Mumphrey, Houston; two brothers, Jerry and Ronnie Amoroso,
Baton Rouge; and 11 grandchildren. His father, T.J. "Tony" Amoroso; and a
brother, Nick Amoroso, preceded her in death. Visitation will be at
Greenoaks Funeral Home, Florida Boulevard, Baton Rouge, tonight from 5 to 9
and Saturday at Christian Life Fellowship, 2037 Quail Drive, from 9 a.m.
until the funeral at 10. Jere D. Melilli will conduct the service, and
burial will be in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
