ANTHON, GEORGE CARSON, SR.
George Carson Anthon Sr., 80 years old of Hammond, died September 22, 2010, 
at the Richard Murphy Hospice House in Hammond.  He was born on May 7, 
1930, in Hammond, son of the late Ludwig Christian Anthon and the late 
Ellen Laura Stevens Anthon.  Surviving are his wife, Ann Bauerle Anthon; 
daughter, Cheryl Anthon Brothers; 3 sons, Robert Ludwig Anthon, Dr. George 
Carson Anthon Jr., and Terrell Lane Anthon; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-
grandchild; sister, Eliska Anthon Fauntleroy; 2 brothers, Merlin Clarence 
Anthon and Paul Byron Anthon.  He is preceded in death by his parents and 
brother, John Gilbert Anthon.  Friends will be received at First Christian 
Church in Hammond on Friday, September 24, 2010, from 1:00 pm until the 
funeral service at 3:00 pm with Rev. William Eubanks officiating.  
Entombment will follow in the Greenlawn Mausoleum in Hammond.  In lieu of 
flowers donations are requested for Richard Murphy Hospice Foundation, 
16013 Halbert Lane, Hammond, LA 70403.  An on-line guest book is available

ANTHON, JOHN GILBERT
On Sunday, December 6, 2009, John Gilbert Anthon age 81, of Hammond, LA.
passed away.  He was a Water Well Contractor and a member of Am.Vets. and
Happy Woods Church of God in Hammond, LA.  His parents L.C. and Ellen
Stevens Anthon, preceded him in death.  He is survived by a daughter
Jonette Miller and son Ronald Anthon, three brothers Merlin, George and
Paul Anthon and one sister Eliska Fauntleroy. Also two grandchildren Jason
Miller and Courtney Tune and seven great grandchildren, Haley, Hannah,
Jacob, Breanna, Zoe, Clairese and Jon-Paul.  A memorial service will be
held on Dec. 21 at 1:00 at Happy Woods Church of God 42418 S. Range Rd in
Hammond, LA. Burial to follow at Carter Cemetery, Springfield, LA.
