She was 75 and had been employed for 10 years with the Louisiana Legislative Council at the State Capitol and retired as an administrative assistant with the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry after 17 years of dedicated service. Charlene was a pastorā ¬!"s wife for 50 years and a longtime member of First Pentecostal Church of Livingston, where her husband was a pastor for 17 years. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Charlene leaves behind her husband of 56 years, Gerald James Arceneaux; three sons, Arlis Arceneaux and wife Ann, Marlin Arceneaux and wife Tabitha, and Todd Arceneaux and wife Scarlet; four grandchildren, Brent Arceneaux, Blair Arceneaux, Bailey McAlister and Brandon Partin; along with two great- grandchildren, Alexia and Makenzie Bell. She is also survived by her only brother, Rod R. Reeves; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Daisy Hall Reeves. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the religious services from First Pentecostal Church of Livingston on Tuesday, April 6, at 10 a.m. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the church on Monday, April 5, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and again on Tuesday, April 6, from 8 a.m. until the funeral service time. Butch was a retired from the Louisiana Department of Agricultural and Forestry. He was a strawberry and produce farmer for 30 years and in 1980 was the Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival King. Surviving are wife of 30 years, Lanelle Levron Arceneaux; son, Felix J.
