ARMAND, DEREK ROSS 
Alexandria - Derek Ross Armand, 19, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2001, at Rapides
Regional Medical Center. He was a former resident of Ponchatoula and
attended Ponchatoula High School. He was also the owner of the Lemon Tree
located in Alexandria Mall, owner and operator of Twankie's Music and
Accessories. He participated in and won low-rider truck statewide
competitions. He is survived by his mother, Susan Claire Armand of
Alexandria; and his maternal grandmother, Adrienne Armand Stevens of Mesa,
Ariz. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles "Wally" Armand.
The funeral was Monday at John Kramer & Son Funeral Home, Alexandria.
Burial was in Alexandria Memorial Gardens.
