She was a housewife and a member of Christian Helping Hand Dedicated Member at Greater St. James AME Church. She is survived by three daughters, Millie Jackson and Elaine Banks, both of Hammond, and Marion Knox of Clinton, Iowa; three sons, Frank Armstead of California, George Armstead of Queens, N.Y., and Lawrence Armstead of Hammond; two brothers, John and Alex Jackson, both of New Orleans; 29 grandchildren and 29 great-great-grand- children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank D. Armstead; and one daughter, Yvonne Jackson. Visitation will be Thursday at Greater St. James AME Church. The Rev. Mack Hurst will conduct the funeral Friday at 1 p.m., and burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. N.A. She was an assistant manager at Big Lots of Hammond, LA. She has been a member of Greenfield Baptist Church and the Hammond High Booster Club past president. She is survived by mother Martha Ann Wilson of Hammond, LA and two daughters, Shannon M. Armstead of Dallas, TX and Sevetri M. Wilson of Baton Rouge, LA. She is also survived by two sons, Schod M. Armstead of Hammond, LA and Sedric M. Wilson of Panama City, FL. She is also survived by three sisters, Ida R. Gordon of Ft. Worth, TX; Diann Holloway of Syracuse, NY; and Emily S. Bell of Hammond, LA; as well as four brothers, Andy Wilson, Jr. of Hammond, LA; Charles Wilson of Hammond, LA; Sam Wilson of Hammond, LA and Conrad Wilson of Hammond, LA. She is preceded in death by her father Andy Wilson, Sr., grandson Atreyu Frazier, brother Willis Wilson, aunt Emily Johnson, and niece Sherie Gordon. Visitation will be at Greenfield Baptist Church on December 26 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The funeral will be at Greenfield Baptist Church on December 27 at 11 a.m. conducted by pastor Jerry Hanible.
