BABB, CHARLES L. 
Charles L. Babb, formerly of Hammond, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2006, at his
home in Fillmore, Utah. He was 78 and retired from Groendyke Transport Inc.
During World War II, Charles served in the U.S. Navy Seabees, stationed on
the island of Okinawa. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law,
Charles M. and Karen Babb of Fillmore; five grandsons, Chip Cotton of Meza,
Ariz., Chad Babb of Hammond, Nathan Cotton of Redbluff, Calif., Cody Babb
of Hammond, and Lee Babb of Fillmore; granddaughter, Jenna Babb of
Flagstaff, Ariz., and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by
his wife, Delores Jacobsen Babb; and daughter, Toni Babb Cotton. Friends
will be received on Saturday, Feb. 11, at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral
Home, Hammond, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev.
Buddy Day. Interment in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Tickfaw.

BABB, DOLORES JACOBSEN 
A resident of Hammond, she died Wednesday, July 24, 2002, at North Oaks
Medical Center, Hammond. She was 72 and a native of Tickfaw. Visiting at
Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday
and after 8 a.m. Saturday. Religious service at the funeral home at 2 p.m.
Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Buddy Day. Interment in Old Zion Hill
Cemetery, Tickfaw. Survived by husband, Charles L. Babb, Hammond; a
daughter, Toni Babb Cotten, Tickfaw; a son, Charles M. Babb, Filmore, Utah;
six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Henry Jacobsen,
Tickfaw; and two sisters, Annie Mae Klotzbach, Tickfaw, and Sandra Day,
Alexandria. Preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Hazel Warren
Jacobsen.

BABB, OWEN C., JR. 
Retired from the U.S. Army with 21 years of service and a resident of
Amite, he died at 6:25 a.m. Friday, March 19, 1999, at Hood Memorial
Hospital, Amite. He was 78 and a native of Napfor, Ky. Visiting at McKneely
Funeral Home, Amite, 10 a.m. Monday until religious services at noon,
conducted by the Rev. Michael Bassemier. Interment in Killian Chapel
Cemetery. Survived by a son, James C. Babb, Amite; three daughters, Patti
Massi, Vicki Bryant and Debbie Wilkinson, all of Amite; two brothers, Hugh
"Bub" Babb, Michigan, and John Babb, West Virginia; a sister, Joan Arvin,
Kentucky; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Preceded in
death by parents and a grandchild.
