She was 63 and a native of Kentwood. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Visiting at the funeral home chapel, 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Don Taylor. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by three daughters, Dina Richelle Fine, Kalispell, Mont., Jennifer Jean McVey, Hammond, and Shawn Amie Dowden, Baton Rouge; two sons, Richard Gregory Babineaux, Houston, and Stephen Jude Babineaux, St. Louis; three sisters, Helen S. Wallace, Pumpkin Center, Natalie S. Roumain, Baton Rouge, and Melba S. Castles, Helena, Mont.; a brother, Wesley Eugene Simmons, Baton Rouge; 10 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
