BACKUS, COLTON DAVID MONISTERE
God's garden has need of a little flower.
It had grown for a time here below.
But in tender love he took it above
So the flower would blossom and grow.
Precious infant son of Wendy Monistere Backus and David Charles Backus of
Hammond, Colton passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at North Oaks
Medical Center.  He is also survived by a very special sister, Ashtyn
Kimberly Monistere, grandfather, David Anthony Monistere, two great-
grandmothers, Marlene Burton and Eula Monistere, aunts, Heidi Monistere,
Ashley Atkins, Brittany Davis, and an uncle Paul Monistere.  He was
preceded in death by his grandmother, Kimberly Diane Monistere and
great-grandfather, Anthony Monistere.  A graveside service will be held at
Rose Memorial Cemetery on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. conducted
by Rev. Jerry Addison.  Memorial donations may be sent to P.O. Box 872,
Albany La 70711 in honor of Colton David Monistere Backus.
