She was 77. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, on Sunday, Oct. 16, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Visiting at the funeral home on Monday from 8 a.m. until service at 10 a.m., followed by interment in New Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery, Baptist. Dot was preceded in death by her parents, John and Almeta Bankston Hinson; brother, Ben Hinson; four sisters, Erhma Lee Wilson, Jodi Sibley, Hilda Stockton and Johnny Lou Goudeau; and two brothers-in-law, Hollis "Roomie" Wilson and Roy Stockton. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 57 years, William "Willie" Bader; two daughters and a son-in-law, Rebecca Bader and Nora and Gil Key; son and daughter-in-law, William David and Dawn Bader; and two grandchildren, David Charles Key and Hannah Marie Bader. She will also be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Dot enjoyed a very full life. She loved spending time with family, gardening, especially tending her day lilies, her needlepoint projects and playing bridge with her many friends. The family would like to thank all her doctors and nurses who cared for her throughout her illness. Pallbearers will be her grandson, David Charley Key, son-in-law, Michael Key, and nephews, Steve Wilson, Donnie Sibley, Lynn Hinson and Mike Goudeau.
