She was a native of Spring Creek and a resident of Independence. She loved all people and in return they loved her. She loved to cook and excelled in it but most of all she loved her family and our Heavenly Father - Always willing to help others and always showing unconditional love. She retired from Hammond State School in 1980 and was a member of First Baptist Church in Independence. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Carolyn and Gary Price, Greenwell Springs, Doug and Jackie Badon, Prairieville, Karen Rick, Husser, Donny and Sarah Badon, Independence; brother and his wife, Carl and Carolyn Pierce, Pelham, GA; grandchildren, Missy Miller, Albany, Michael Dickson, Ponchatoula, Amanda Carruth, Hammond, Grant Carruth, Husser, Clark and Essa Badon, Prairieville, and Christopher and Katie Badon, Independence; great- grandchildren, Aubrey, Ayden and Pierce Carruth, Blair and Michael Dickson, Christian Miller and Candace Anthony; niece, Angie Corkern; nephews, Zack Myers, David King, Jim, Randy, Otis, Frank and Jimmy Pierce. Preceded in death by her husband, Milton "Hoss" Badon; sisters, Mary King and Shirley Robertson; brothers, Wesley, Wayne and Johnnie Pierce; her parents, Otis and Eardy Pierce; nephew, Ernest Ray Myers. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at St. Tammany Parish Hospital, Regency Hospital and The Carpenter House. She will be missed by all but never forgotten.
