He was born June 25, 1925 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, son of the late Andrew and Angeline Kowalski Badzinski. Mr. Badzinski was a World War II Veteran, and a member of American Legion Post 109, Amvets Post 68, Marine Corps Detachment 893, and DVA Florida Parish Chapter 50. Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Gertrude Gomez Badzinski; daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Dennis Bolliger, daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Ken Anderson; 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Jennie Badzinski, Jr., Michael and Diane Badzinski, and Brian and Paula Badzinski; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold and Judy Badzinski and Tom and Jan Badzinski; 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great- great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Charlotte Ault; 1 sister, Sophie Makowski and 3 brothers, Edward, Richard, and Andrew Badzinski. Friends will be received Friday, November 2, 2007 at the Harry McKneely & Son in Hammond from 6 pm til 9 pm, and after 8 am on Saturday until the 10:30 am Funeral Home Chapel Service. Interment will follow in the Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Hammond, Louisiana 70403.
