BANKESTER, EAMEL FREDERICK
Mr. Eamel Frederick Bankester, 86 years old of Hammond, La., passed away 
Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012, at his residence.  He was born on Monday, Aug. 24, 
1925, in Robertsdale, Ala., son of the late Terpin and Lena Lewis 
Bankester.  Mr. Bankester was a US Army veteran of WW II. He will be sadly 
missed by an abundance of family and friends.  Surviving are his daughter & 
son-in-law, Susan Bankester Guidroz and Wayne Guidroz, son & daughter-in-
law, Mike and Rhonda Bankester, grandchildren, Bryan Bankester, Bradley 
Bankester, Amie Albritton, Kimberly Owen, and Laurie Guidroz, and his 
great-granddaughter, Isabella Albritton.  He is preceded in death by his 
wife, Eleanor Hoiles Bankester, son, Charles Bankester, brother, Claude 
Bankester, and sister, Berniece Killam.  A graveside service will be held 
at Silverhill Cemetery, in Silverhill, Ala., on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012 at 
3 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church 
of Hammond, 2200 Rue Denise, Hammond, LA 70403.  An on-line guest book is

BANKESTER, ELEANOR 
Eleanor Bankester, 74, died Monday, March 25, 2002. She was a native of
Robertsdale, Ala. She is survived by her husband, Eamel Bankester of
Hammond; one daughter, Susan Bankester Guidroz of Hammond; two sons,
Charles Keith Bankester of Madison, Miss., and Michael Bankester of New
Orleans; one brother, Richard Hoiles of Robertsdale; and five
grandchildren. The Rev. Hancel Bankester conducted the funeral Thursday at
Mack Funeral Home, Robertsdale. Burial was in Silverhill Cemetery,
Silverhill, Ala.
