She was 88 and a native of Memphis, Tenn. Visiting was at Geisler Funeral Home chapel, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday. Visiting at the chapel from 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Chris Bratton. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park, Baton Rouge. Survived by a son, Charles Babb, Hammond; two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
