BANNISTER, LESLIE E.
Sec. 2, p.2.  Leslie E. Bannister, long a resident of Kentwood, died at his
home Saturday morning. Born Oct. 29, 1858. He had lived all his life in
Louisanna. He and his wife celebrated their golden anniversary last year.
He is survived by his wife and several children. Funeral was Sunday
afternoon with burial at Woodlawn cemetery, Kentwood.

BANNISTER, WILLIAM MOODY 
Denham Springs - William Moody Bannister, 75, died Monday, Oct. 23, 2000,
at his home. He was a native of Mt. Hermon. Survivors include his wife, Eva
O. Bannister, Denham Springs; two daughters, Cathy B. Settoon, Ponchatoula,
Mandy E. Bannister, Denham Springs; four sons, William M. Bannister Jr.,
Sun City, Ariz., Joseph L. Banister, Biloxi, Miss., Glenn R. Bannister,
Winnfield, Randy W. Bannister, Denham Springs; seven grandchildren and
three great-grandchildren. A sister, Mary E. Bannister; and two brothers,
James L. and Frank E. Bannister, preceded him in death. Visitation will be
at Abundant Life Church, Denham Springs, tonight from 6 to 9 and Wednesday
from 8 a.m. until the funeral at 10. Burial will be in Denham Springs
Cemetery. Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, is in charge.
