Malcolm "Frenchie" Lawrence Barberot Sr., a veteran of the U.S. Navy who proudly served his country during World War II, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2007 at the age of 85 in Hammond. A resident of St. Bernard until August 29, 2005, due to Katrina, he was the beloved husband of the late Blossom Geeck Barberot. Son of the late Myrtle Donnell Baberot and Lawrence E. Barberot. Brother of the late Jacqueline Rice, Gloria Wilde, Donald Barberot, Aline Savoye and Betty Eber. Survived by two sisters, Joyce Lunney and Heln "Mickey" Bernier. Loving Father of Malcolm Barberot Jr. (husband of Debra Temple), Bruce Baberot, Gaynell B. DeCarlo (wife of Thomas), Deborah B. Brouillette (wife of Vincent) and Cynthia Barberot. He is the proud grandfather of Jacqueline, Daniel, Jason, John "JT", Matthew and Joseph. He is also survived and fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation continued today from 11 a.m. for relatives and friends at St. Bernard Memorial Gardens, 701 W.
