Alvin, 57 years old, was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on January 4, 1954 and resided in Tickfaw, Louisiana. He is survived by his mother Carmella Tortorice Barbier; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Shelia and Ronnie Tregre, Charlotte and Donald Ferrara, Rachel and Mark Vining; nieces and nephews Melissa and Michael Capadona, Amy Ferrara, Dillan Vining, Darian Vining, Dane Vining, Kasie Tregre and Kelli Woods. great nieces and nephews Madison Capadona, Dejö & Yusif Tregre, and Gavin and Justin Woods. He was preceded in death by his father George Alvin Barbier, twin brother Alan George Barbier and nephew Chad Donald Ferrara. Mr. Barbier was a WW II veteran who served in branches of the Army and the Air Force and was a member of ther American Legion, Veteran of Foreign Wars and the LionŐs Club.
