BARINEAU, ANN ODOM
A loving mother and grandmother, Ann Odom Barineau, 82, died Monday, Nov.
27, 2006, at her home in Naples, Fla. Ann was born to the late George
Hilliard Odom and Alice Waugh Odom on Sept. 4, 1924, in Durant, Miss., and
was a longtime resident of Hammond. Surviving are her sons and
daughters-in-law, Wayne and Eva Barineau of Denham Springs and Mark and
Donna Barineau of Naples; five grandchildren, Yvette Barineau Stogner,
Ann-Victoria Barineau, Olivia Barineau, Tyler Barineau and Hallie Barineau;
great-grandchild, Douglas Stogner; a great-grandson expected to be born in
February; and brother, James Hilliard Odom of Thousand Oaks, Calif. Along
with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney
Barineau; and grandson, Jamie Barineau. Friends will be received at Harry
McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 9 a.m. to
11 a.m. Graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery, Hammond, at
11:30 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Bill Young officiating. In lieu of
flowers, please make donations to The American Red Cross, P.O. Box 37243,
