BARNARD, MRS. CHARLES C.
Last rites for Mrs. Charles C. Barnard, 76, who died Monday in Baton Rouge,
were held Wednesday from the family residence in Hammond.  Interment was in
Roselawn Memorial cemetery.  A native of Alton, Ill., she was a resident of
Hammond for the past 7 years.  She is survived by her husband; two 
daughters, Mrs. Marion Monfort of St. Joseph, Mich. and Mrs. Katherin Ames
of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; two sons, Charles C. Barnard, Jr. of Baton Rouge,
and L. W. Barnard of Hammond; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

BARNARD, KRISTINA ELIZABETH
Miss Kristina Elizabeth Barnard, 17 years old of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, 
passed away Monday, January 30, 2012.  She was born on Monday, January 23, 
1995, in Baton Rouge, LA.  She was a junior at Ponchatoula High School and 
was involved in the ROTC, Interact and First Responders. She was also 
involved with SLU Development Math & Science Upward Bound program and many 
other clubs. She was truly loved and will be sadly missed by all who knew 
her.  Surviving are her parents, Johnny L. and Tammy Louk Swindle; brothers, 
Landon, Jeff Swindle, and Jason Swindle; sister, Dessie Barnard; 
grandparents, Russell and Jerry Mae Louk; grandfather, John Swindle; 
grandmother, Rosetta Jones; aunt, Shannon Louk; aunt and uncle, Lisa and 
Mike Eden; uncle, Mike Swindle; biological mother, Kelly Barnard; biological 
great-grandmother; Alice Mendoza, and her biological uncle, Gene Barnard.
She is preceded in death by aunt, Kerri Barnard; uncle, Gene Charles 
Barnard; uncle, David Barnard; and great-grandfather, Larry Mendoza.
Friends will be received on Friday, February 3, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. until 
10:00 p.m. at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond and on Saturday, 
February 4, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.  Services will be held in 
the funeral home chapel in Hammond, on Saturday, at 1:00 p.m.  Interment 
will follow in the Carter Cemetery in Springfield, Louisiana.  In lieu of 
flowers donations may be made to the Ponchatoula High School ROTC program or 
Southeastern Louisiana University Development Foundation/Upward Bound.  An
