Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Shirley Clark Barnett; 3 sons, Billy Joe Barnett, Jr, Terry Don Barnett, and Ricky Wade (Jeniffer) Barnett; 1 daughter, Karen Barnett (Charles) Riordan; 7 grandchildren, Christy Ann (Brian Paul) Pearson, Alicia Lynn, Jeneffer, Tommy, Jr., Nicklos, Joseph, Ashley Laree, Joshua Wade; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Carl and Steven Paul Barnett; 7 sisters, Peggy Hollingsworth, Margie Pitts, Linda Rosata, Kay Holland, Dale Hutchinson, Pat Wallace, and Shirley Fletcher; and numerous nieces and nephews.
