She was a native of Woodriver, Ill., and a housewife. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Barnum of Pine Grove; two daughters, Keidi Lee and Button Barnum, both of Pine Grove; two sons, Carter and Chad Lee, both of Watson; two stepsons, Jerry Barnum Jr. and Lance Barnum, both of Springfield; her mother, Shirley Phillips Hultz of Denham Springs; her father, Melvin Caldwell of Sacramento, Calif.; two sisters, Melvina Berry of Baker and Myra Caldwell of Baton Rouge; one brother, Melvin Caldwell Jr. of Harvey; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 6 to 9 p.m., and Thursday from 8 a.m. until the funeral at 11. Burial was in Carter Cemetery under the direction of Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home.
