BARRINGER, MERWYN 
A resident and native of Ponchatoula, he died on Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2004, in
New Orleans. He was 66. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home,
Ponchatoula, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday and on Friday from 8 a.m.
until religious service at 1 p.m. Interment in Ponchatoula Cemetery.
Survived by wife, Beverly Baham Barringer of Ponchatoula; two sons, Darren
Barringer of Ponchatoula and Devin Barringer of Jackson; two grandchildren,
Logan and Jesse Barringer; and a brother, Brian Barringer of Ponchatoula.
Preceded in death by father, James P. Barringer; and mother, Mildred
Fortenbury Barringer Glover.

BARRINGER, MICHAEL P. 
A resident and native of Ponchatoula, he died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2001, at
North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. He was 34. Visitation was at Harry
McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.
Visitation in the funeral home chapel from 8 a.m. until religious services
at 11 a.m. Monday. Interment in Ponchatoula Cemetery. Survived by his wife,
Billie Jo Evans Barringer, Robert; children, Kyle Daniel Barringer, Nicole,
and Michael Dunnington, all of Robert; parents, Brian and Peggy Hemphill
Barringer, Ponchatoula; a sister, Lauren Barringer McCoy, Ponchatoula; and
a brother, Brian Scott Barringer, Hammond. Preceded in death by paternal
grandparents, James and Mildred Fontenberry Barringer; and maternal
grandparents, Scott and Helen Cone Hemphill.
