BARROW, SADIE THERESA DONAGRICHA KINCHEN
A homemaker and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died Tuesday, July 14, 2009,
at Heritage House Nursing Home after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's
disease. She was 87 and a native of Independence. Visiting at Baker Funeral
Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Friday, July 17, from 8 a.m. until
graveside service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens at 10 a.m., conducted by
the Rev. Michael LeBlanc. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law,
Ella Kinchen Chartier and husband Terry Chartier, of Watson; two sons and
daughters-in-law, Leo L. Kinchen and wife Carol LeBlanc Kinchen, of
Zachary, and Randy Kinchen and wife Annette LeBlanc Kinchen, of Baton
Rouge; five grandchildren, Brian Kinchen, of Charlotte, N.C., Aaron
Kinchen, of Jersey City, N.J., Brad and Megan Kinchen, both of Baton Rouge,
and Blaine Chartier and wife Kelly, of Katy, Texas; and five great-
grandchildren, Joseph Kinchen and Rebecca Blair, both of Charlotte, Jessica
Blair, of Baton Rouge, and Noah and Hudson Chartier, both of Katy. Preceded
in death by her husband, Clifton "Tip" Barrow; parents, Sam and Natalie
Donagricha; brother, Grover Donagricha; sisters, Ella Scardina, Frances
Richarson, Rosa Martello and Leona Kirkwood; and granddaughter, Alicia
Chartier. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Life Source
Hospice.
