She was a homemaker. She is survived by two daughters, Arlisa Batiste of Covington and Debra Batiste of Folsom; four sons, Randy and Terry Batiste, both of Covington, Henry Barnes of North Carolina and Kelvin Barnes of Folsom; three sisters, Linda and Jackie Barnes and Dora Powell, all of Abita Springs; one brother, Zebeede Lott of Abita Springs; her mother, Eola Lott of Abita Springs; 30 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Visitation will be a Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Covington. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery.
