Beloved husband of Anita Flynn Baudier; father of Randall Frank Baudier; son of Elnora Hemmering Baudier and the late Stephen P. Baudier, Jr; nephew of the late Frank E. Olschner and Louise Baudier Olschner; son-in-law of June Vice Flynn and the late Randall D. Flynn; brother of Jean Baudier Smith and the late Stephen P. Baudier, III; also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Age 64, Mr. Baudier was born in New Orleans and had lived in Hammond since 1965. He was very active in scouting; achieved the rank of Eagle Scout; and received the prestigious Vigil Honor of the Order of the Arrow. A graduate of Jesuit High School in New Orleans, he received Bachelor and Master degrees in Music Education from Southeastern Louisiana University. He was the owner of Baudier's Piano Service of Hammond and provided his tuning , repair and restoration skills to a multi-parish area for more than 35 years. He was also a music teacher in both East Baton Rouge and Tangipahoa Parishes. An accomplished musician, Mr. Baudier played trombone, violin, and piano. He was well known for his piano performances at many local parties and receptions. The musical arts have lost a great patron and performer. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation at Geisler Funeral Home of Hammond on Thursday, July 9 from 6 until 8 pm. Visitation will continue on Friday at the funeral home chapel after 12:30 pm until the religious service at 2 pm . Interment will follow in Holly Gardens Cemetery.
