BECKWITH, FRANKLIN 
Ponchatoula - Franklin Beckwith, 73, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2003. He was a
native of Clay County, Ark., and a member of Pilgrim's Rest Church. He is
survived by three daughters, Tamira Tippitt of Ponchatoula, Charlene Walker
of Doniphan, Mo., and K.T. Roes of Kody, Wyo.; three sons, George Beckwith
of Creal Springs, Ill., Robert Beckwith of Ashland, Ky., and Carl Beckwith
of Fairdealing, Mo.; four brothers, Bud Beckwith of Union, Miss., Wes
Beckwith of Doniphan, Ernie Beckwith of Godfrey, Ill., and Daniel Beckwith
of Greenfield, Ill.; three sisters, Gertrude Beecher and Rhode Payne, both
of Corning, Ark., and Sylvia King of St. Charles, Mo.; 11 grandchildren and
five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one
sister, Zora Ray; and two sons, Timmy Beckwith and Wiley Beckwith.
Visitation will be Friday at Edward's Funeral Home, Doniphan, from 5 to 
8 p.m. The funeral will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Post
Oak Cemetery, McDougal, Ark.
