He was 52 and a native of Odessa, Texas. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home chapel, Hammond, from 11 a.m. until service at 2 p.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Mike Horchak. Survived by his wife, Sandra Knight Beeman, Ponchatoula; son, Michael Douglas Beeman, Lewisville, Texas; granddaughter, London W. Beeman, Fort Worth, Texas; parents, G.C. "Pete" and Cleta Bean Beeman, Kermit, Texas; sister, Judy Gale Standefer, Cleveburne, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
