She was born on Thursday, May 17, 1934, in Gonzales, daughter of the late Rev. P.W. Sr. and Lena Owens Sibley. Mrs. Behrman was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hammond. She was a previous employee of Reimer-Snyder and John Batson LLC Lumber Co. for 56 years. Surviving are her husband, Douglas Behrman; stepson, Jeff Behrman; two stepdaughters, Toni Noble and Beth Doyle; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Gloria S. Morel; four brothers, Pleasant W. Sibley Jr., Howard K. "Red" Sibley, Glenn R. Sibley and Ralph C. Sibley; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the First United Methodist Church in Hammond on Tuesday, Dec. 2, from noon until religious service at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. William Eubanks. Interment will follow in the Sibley Cemetery, Satsuma. Mrs. Behrman was a loving and caring woman who will be missed by all her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Methodist Children's Home in Ruston.
