BELANGER, PEARL PHILLIPS 
A resident of Kentwood, she died at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 27, 2000, at Hood
Memorial Hospital, Amite. She was 96 and a native of Liverpool. Visitation
at the Belanger home, Kentwood, from 4 p.m. Tuesday until religious
services at 11 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. L.G. McMorris, the
Rev. Sandy Sherman and the Rev. Dennis Mitchell. Interment in Woodland
Cemetery. Survived by a daughter, Parmys Belanger Stegall, Kentwood; two
granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Catherine and Johnny Morris and
Jacquie and Steve Baham, all of Kentwood; a great-grandson, Timothy Stephen
Wagner, Kentwood; and a sister, Ollie Lee Fuqua, Chatawa, Miss. Preceded in
death by her husband, Ivy C. Belanger; parents, Monroe and Jettie Phillips;
a son, Billie Belanger; eight sisters and four brothers. In lieu of
flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local S.P.C.A. McKneely
Funeral Home, Amite, in charge of arrangements.
