He was a native of New Orleans, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, a retired insurance agent, a member of the Knights of Columbus, Holy Name Society, American Legion Post of Independence and the St. Joseph Society. Survivors include his wife, Josephine Levatino Bellaci of Independence; four children, Laura Bellaci Davis of Independence, Mary Bellaci Schillage of Hammond, Henry Frank Bellaci of Palm Springs, Calif., and Isidore Joseph Bellaci Jr. of Saudi Arabia. Three sisters, Jacqueline Bellaci Fleury, Marian Bellaci Turcuit and Eleanora Bellaci Rolf; and his parents, Henry and Angelina Daughter Bellaci; preceded him in death as did an infant brother. Visitation will be Friday at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The Mass will be at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, Independence, at 1:30 p.m. Entombment will follow at Colonial Mausoleum. ***************************************************************************
