He was 67, a native of Independence and resident of Amite. He was a U.S. Marines Corps veteran of World War II. Visiting at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, 4 to 8 p.m. with recitation of rosary at 7 p.m. Sunday, and 8 to 9:40 a.m. Monday. Religious services at St. Helena Catholic Church, Amite, 10 a.m. Monday, conducted by Father John S. O'Connell. Burial in Amite Memorial Gardens. Survived by mother, Mrs. Mamie M. Bellavia; a sister, Mrs. Angelee Bellavia Ardillo; and three brothers, Thomas, Frank S. and Kelly C. Bellavia Jr. All survivors reside in Amite. Bellavia and Jody Bellavia Hannah, both of Independence, and Jacqualyn Bellavia Duhon and husband Andy, Dallas; grandchild, Joseph "Joey" Bellavia Duhon, Dallas; two sisters, JoAnne LaMarca Genco and husband Samuel L., Metairie, and Joyce LaMarca Wehner, Independence; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Anne LaMarca; husband, Joseph J. Bellavia; and nephew, Samuel L. Genco Jr. Visitation will be at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, Independence, Thursday, July 7, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., with the Rev.
