Survivors include her stepson, Andrew Bellazer of McComb, Miss.; a daughter, Ella Preston English Wilson of New Orleans; stepdaughter, Felicia Bellazer Travis, Washington, D.C.; six sisters, Lillie Mae McClendon, Fannie McMorris, Luella White, Idella Fisher, Easter Sue Lloyd and Naomi Travis; four brothers, George,Henry, Fred and Isaac Travis , 11 grand- children, 14 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Susie Matthews Travis, a son and a daughter. Visitation will be Thursday at 12:30 p.m. at Martin Chapel AME, Independence followed by the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Minister Lawrence Jackson will officiate. Burial will be in Holly Garden Cemetery, Hammond, following the service. *************************************************************************** Obituary published in The Hammond Daily Star on: 3/1/2001 BELLAZER, RAYMOND Ponchatoula - Raymond Bellazer, 44, died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2001. He was a truck driver and a native of Independence. He is survived by three daughters, Britney and Shelby Bellazer, both of Detroit, and Lakeisha Gill of Ponchatoula; two sons, Kyle Bellazer of Detroit and Tash Bellazer of White Castle; two sisters, Peggy Morris of Port Allen and Dianne Bellazer of Baton Rouge; three brothers, Larry and Robert Bellazer and Albner Morris, all of Baton Rouge; his mother, Mildred Morris of Baton Rouge; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home, Hammond. The Rev. Wilbard Jones will conduct the funeral Saturday at 11 a.m. at Zion Travelers Baptist Church, Independence.
