BENEDETTO, ANITA M.
Mrs. Anita M. Benedetto, age 97, a 12 year resident of Gainesboro, TN
passed from this life on Thursday January 21, 2010 at NHC Healthcare in
Cookeville, TN.  Mrs. Benedetto was born in New Orleans, LA on May 29,
1912. She was the daughter of the late Walter McKinstry and Angelina Anita
Piaggio McKinstry. Mrs. Benedetto was preceded in death by her husband
Horace Benedetto, and 2 grandsons, Gavin and Ian Smith.  Mrs. Benedetto is
survived by a daughter and son-in-law Vi and Bob Smith of Gainesboro, TN,
formerly of Robert, LA. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Sonya
and Wayne,7 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen by Mrs. Benedetto and services will be scheduled in
Louisiana at a later date.  Jackson County Funeral Home-Cremation Services
was in charge of arrangements.

BENEDETTO, LUVELLA CASCIO 
Luvella Cascio Benedetto, 90, of Benicia, Calif., passed away on Sunday,
Aug. 13, 2006, at her home, following a short illness. She was born Nov.
28, 1915, in Tickfaw, La. Luvella worked as a retail saleswoman for
clothing for 22 years, retiring in 1986. She was preceded in death by her
husband, Frank D. Benedetto; son, Michael C. Benedetto; four sisters, Ida
Cascio, Phyllis Mullin, Rose Cascio and Sister Mary Dominica, O.S.B.; and
four brothers, Charles, Joseph, Nick and Michael Cascio. She is survived by
a son, Frank M. and wife Linda Benedetto of San Ramon, Calif.; daughter,
Phyllis and husband Jim Sproul of Benicia; six grandchildren, Dawn, Angela,
Nicole, Michael, Francisco and Frank Jr.; and two great-grandchildren,
Tayler and Zoey. Visitation at Skyview Funeral Chapel, Vallejo, Calif., on
Tuesday, Aug. 15, from 6 p.m. until recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m.
Funeral Mass at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Vallejo, at 11 a.m.
Wednesday, Aug. 16. Burial in Good Shepherd Cemetery, Huntington Beach,
Calif.
