She died Monday, Oct. 12, 2009, at her home at age 91. Sannie was a member of Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church. Visitation at Our Lady Of Pompeii Catholic Church, Tickfaw, on Thursday, Oct. 15, from 9 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment in Tickfaw Catholic Cemetery. Sannie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn and Frank Sinagra; granddaughter, Stephanie Sinagra and husband John Stanley; and two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Hunter Stanley. Preceded in death by her husband, Tony Benenati; parents, Joseph Morales and Mary Calderone Morales; two sisters, Lena Bravata and Carmella Lamonte; and six brothers, Sam, Vincent, Pete, Dominick, Anthony and Angelo Morales. The family would like to extend their appreciation to Care Inc., North Oaks Hospice and Dr. Steve Gaudin. A special thanks is extended to sitters, Nyla, Brenda and Helen. He was 86. Visiting at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church, Tickfaw, after 9:30 a.m. until religious services at 1 p.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. George Reynolds. Entombment in church mausoleum. Survived by wife of 65 years, Sannie Morales Benenati; a daughter, Kathryn B. Sinagra, both of Tickfaw; a granddaughter and two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Catherine Cirone Benenati; and four brothers, John, Dominick, Joe and Russell Ferrara.
